OnSport was set-up by a group of sports-minded colleagues from Maxinutrition, to create a community where clubs, individuals and fans connect, 100% for free. OnSport is unique because it works with official National Governing Bodies across the sporting sphere in the UK, helping to create essential links from top to bottom across your own OnSport network.

The Brain child of Leon Hughes (Internet Development Director at Maxinutrition), OnSport was originally conceived as a way to simply help clubs enhance their connectivity – to fill the void left by most template sports websites, which are difficult to navigate and add content to. However, with the advent of social media and ease of which friends connect on Facebook or share comments on Twitter or videos on Youtube, Leon saw there was an opportunity to give clubs a social media style website which could create a vibrant network of players, coaches and fans. With a little bit of research and feedback from the likes of Sport England and people at Maxinutrition, it became obvious that a real sports network does not exist in the UK.

We hope OnSport can fill this void and inspire sports people to get more involved.
